ANIMALS IN DIFFERENT BIOMES

There are about 40 different kinds of toucans. They have short and thick necks. Toucans are distinguished by large, colorful, yet lightweight bills. The color of the bill may be black, blue, brown, green, red, white, yellow or a combination of colors. The bright colors on his bill help to attract a mate.

Meerkat

The meerkat  is a small carnivoran belonging to the mongoose family
Herpestidae.Meerkats live in all parts of the Kalahari Desert in Botswana, in much of the Namib Desert in Namibia and southwestern Angola, and in South Africa.

The similarities of the two animals are that they live in a biodiversity and the differences are that one of the biodiversities is wet and the other is dry.
